Learn about the many styles of traditional Hawaiian lei, and when to use them.
All of the materials we use will be natural materials which can be grown in your yard. We will learn to prepare the materials for use, and how to store them.
Students also have the opportunity to learn oli (chant) for lei, and some of the mele associated with them.
First Sunday of each month – Liliʻuokalani Gardens, Hilo
